Let’s talk real life. I have a Real Housewives obsession. I live for Beverly Hills and NYC, and dabble in Atlanta. When New Jersey is in season, don’t mess with my recordings, or you risk being shanked.

I saw Vicki (RHOC) wearing a necklace similar to this one, and I immediately loved it! I honestly didn’t want to take the time to hunt one down on the internet, so I decided to pull out my jewelry kit and make my own. That might sound stupid to you, but it took me about 10 minutes to make, and I guarantee it cost me less and took me less time than if I had bought one online.

If you love it too, then here’s a quick tutorial to make your own!

Supplies:

  • 24″ small mm chain (I like to use the smallest I can find!)
  • 1 double sided connector bead (try this!)
  • 1 base bead
  • Jewelry tool kit
  • 2 jump rings
  • 1 lobster clasp

Step 1: Measure the length you want your necklace to be and cut the chain.

Step 2: At the midpoint of the chain, attach the base bead.

Step 3: Add the lobster clasp at the end of the necklace, and a jump ring. Clasp the necklace together.

Step 4: About 6 inches (eye ball it), add the connector bead into the necklace. You should be able to attach this without using any jump rings.

    • Hi! I got it from Etsy : ) – I will look back through my past purchases and link to the exact chain I used. I love it! Inexpensive and study!
