DIY Citrus Stamped Favor Bags

Use citrus fruits to stamp colorful DIY party favors.
Raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries all seem to be getting ready to be picked right now, and as our gardens begin to ripen, we might find ourselves with an abundance of fresh fruit. Harvesting the fruit before hostessing a dinner party, and tossing them into citrus stamped muslin bags is a great way to share the fruits of your labor ;), plus they make for a great party favor!
I loved using a pop of color on these bags, but you can use any color you’d like! I think using different colors of ink mixed with different sized fruit would be a colorful way to decorate the bags.
You might even use a sharpie to handletter guests’ names on the bags, then use them as not only party favors, but also place settings!
DIY Citrus Stamped Favor Bags
Supplies:
- Citrus Fruit
- Stamp Pad
- Small Muslin Bags
Step 1: Cut citrus fruit in halves. Let them sit out for a few hours so that the fruit is no longer wet to the touch.
Step 2: Press the fruit firmly onto a stamp pad and use the fruit as a stamp to transfer citrus prints onto small muslin bags.
Step 3: Allow the ink to fully dry, then fill the bags with fresh fruit to be sent home as favors!

I love this idea! So simple but so pretty! Love the bright blue citrus shapes too, so used to just seeing things like this in yellow, orange, or green. Nice to see a pretty pop of something nontraditional.
