Bonjour, I’m Chloe…
Welcome to Boxwood Avenue, a place I created to inspire you to slow down and live a little more meaningfully. For those of us who resist trends, and find that true luxury is in simplicity.

a letter from the founder
A little about me…
Celebrating the beauty of old-world living has always been a part of my life. My father’s side of the family is from France and growing up, honoring my heritage came in the form of learning old family recipes, how to sew, and living life the “French way”.
It wasn’t until I transitioned from city life to life in a town where the population of cattle outnumbered the population of people, that I truly began to integrate the art of slow-living into my daily routine. Sounds of traffic turned into the rhythm of nature, manicured lawns turned into spaces that welcomed wild roses and backyard chickens, and a quaint 1960’s ranch house became my sanctuary from which I dreamed of building Boxwood Avenue.
Much like untamed ivy, Boxwood Avenue has grown in a way that highlights the beauty of simplicity: a place of inspiration, education, and exploration of living more meaningfully.
I loved living on the ranch, but something inside kept calling me to France. As Boxwood Avenue grew, I began taking on design clients across the country. An unplanned career change that I feel incredibly grateful for.
With Boxwood Avenue Interiors spanning coast to coast, I became passionate about developing spaces with individuality. A key element being antiques. Specifically, French antiques.
I found myself flying over the Atlantic every few months, bringing home with me precious flea market finds each time. During this time, I found creative fulfillment in sharing the beauty of Europe with the Boxwood Avenue community, and decided to begin hosting intimate luxury group trips to France, Italy, and the Cotswolds.
Now known as Boxwood Avenue Abroad, I have the immense pleasure of sharing my world with small groups multiple times a year. We lovingly describe these trips as “Every Woman’s Dream Trip to Europe.”
In December 2024, I decided to take the leap and move to France. What an adventure it has been! I write about my journey on my substack, which you can find here.

Outside of my business accomplishments, I feel a sense of peace in my life that I deeply wish others to feel. This is truly the impetus of Boxwood Avenue. Somewhere along this journey, I discovered where happiness comes from: the satisfaction of bringing to life a creative pursuit, the appreciation of what is, honoring your own intuition, and living gratefully.
When I moved to France, I was quite scared that I would not find the same sense of happiness that I had on the ranch. There was a moment in my small flat when I realized: I could be happy anywhere.
Finding the luxury in simplicity does not require moving to a remote location, nor does it exclude the appreciation of a bustling city. Regardless of who you are and where you are rooted, creating moments of honesty, intention, and appreciation in life is always within reach.
Whether it’s the way a morning sunrise hits the steam of your coffee or the appreciation of the life of vintage and antique pieces, the ethos of Boxwood Avenue emerges from the sum of the little moments throughout life.
I hope to create a space that shares those little moments of happiness with you. Whether that be reliving a precious memory with your grandma as you make her famous pie crust, or sew a new dress from fabric your aunt gave you.
Boxwood Avenue is a place where we can come together and appreciate beautiful design, old world traditions, and slow living.

Boxwood Avenue Interiors & Boxwood Abroad
Over the years, I continued nurturing my quest for meaningful living, while being creative and that’s how I discovered I am infatuated with interior design.
I truly believe our environments have immense impact on our daily lives. Design combines everything I loved while producing a beautiful finished project that would become the vessel for everything meaningful: conversations around the dinner table, late night reading in a cozy nook, and enjoying the sunset with loved ones. As the interiors side of the business grew, so did my desire for connection.
Boxwood Avenue had always been a digital destination, yet I deeply desired in-person experiences. With the launch of Boxwood Avenue Abroad, I have been able to create memories with hundreds of women (and a few good men), and I don’t take it lightly when the most common departing note is: “This was a life changing experience.“
