Welcome to our Farmhouse Christmas…come on in!

Today I would love to welcome you into our home to show you how I’ve dressed things up for Christmas! I haven’t quite checked everything off my list yet, but I love the touches I’ve added so far.

I have linked a lot of the sources for the decorations I’ve used throughout the house for you. A lot of the items are available in my shop, and I would love for you to visit me over there!

This year I used a pinecone wreath on our door, which I love! It is made with real pinecones, and I don’t have to worry about it dying! Right now, it is on sale! This is a beautiful wreath that can be used for years to come.

I also added a few large vintage inspired bells and greenery around the door! As the holiday gets closer, I will add some real garland, but for now, this faux greenery is the perfect thing!

I love using organic and natural elements when decorating for Christmas. It compliments the style of the rest of my home. Things like fresh greenery, pinecones, metal, and wood accents are my favorite ways to bring in a little winter without too much glitz!

The entryway

I really wanted the entryway to have an old world feel to it. Since the furniture is handed down, I wanted to embrace it and accentuate the details!

The color on the walls is Midnight Stroll by Clark & Kensington. It is a beautiful deep navy that appears almost black. I love the way it looks with all of the wood tones and vintage furnishings!

Decorating Tip

I used fishing string to hang the wreath on the mirror, and placed a fresh cut tree clipping in a large vintage french pickling jar!

A simple way to decorate for the holidays is to fill bowls and jars with pinecones, bells, or other seasonal items! You can see I’ve filled a few of my favorite bowls and jars with these things here!

The Dining Room

Since remodeling our dining room during the One Room Challenge, I have loved adding special touches each season for enjoying meals with family and friends! With the holidays being one of the most fun!

This year I have been obsessed with these linen napkins and tablecloths! They are such a wonderful option for entertaining at a great price point! I have multiple sets and they are amazing quality!

To make a very simple table setting, I folded the wrinkly napkin into quarters, then in half and tied it with a green velvet ribbon! To finish it off, I added a clipping of greenery and a tiny rustic bell!

The Kitchen

In years past I have added a little bit more, but this year I am really keeping my Christmas decorating simple!

I have added a touch of greenery and a few wooden figurines in the kitchen, and that is about it! My favorite element is the sweet little Christmas tree next to the stove!

If you’re wondering how to keep real Christmas trees fresh throughout the holiday season, here are my tips!

The Laundry Room

I wanted to add a few special touches to our laundry room because it is actually one of the most frequently used rooms!

I used a faux magnolia garland for the wreath. I simply secured it with a few pieces of wire and tied a red silk ribbon to the bottom! I really love the way it turned out with the crimson, forest, and gold colors!

  1. Chloe your whole tour looks so pretty! I adore the pinecone wreath and all the organic touches, but I think my absolute favorite thing is your cute small nobles you have in the dining room and the kitchen! LOVE those!! (and how did you get them so early? I haven’t found live trees anywhere yet!)

Thanks so much for joining us again:)

    Happy Holidays!
