Anyways, I am on a goat tangent - let's talk about greyhounds. They are delicious, refreshing, and one of my favorite cocktails! This version incorporates a faint flavor of rosemary, and is the perfect cocktail to whip up this weekend.
To juice the rosemary, you can use one of those lemon juicers, or a beater from an electric mixer. If you go with option 2, you'll need to strain the juice through some cheese cloth to get rid of
- 3 oz. vodka
- 2 grapefruits, juiced
- 1-2 oz. rosemary simple syrup depending on sweetness preferance
- 6 oz club soda (optional)
Shake vodka, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup well with ice. Pour in a glass and serve.
If you'd like a bit more diluted grapefruit flavor, pour into a tall glass, and top with club soda.
