Using vintage or found items in conjunction with a few beautiful newbies for a beautiful modern farmhouse Christmas!
Christmastime is such a magical time to decorate for. I love having an excuse to bring fresh greens and sparkly decor in! This year I thought I would try to add a bit more glitter than I normally do. I was feeling really inspired by german glitter glass; however, I didn’t end up going in that direction. Although beyond beautiful, I really couldn’t pull it off. So I’ve gone with my ol’ tried and true: vintage & found.
I’m sharing some of these items with you in case you might want to bring some of it into your home. I think one of the best things about all of these things (aside from some of the truly seasonal items) can be used around the house year round!
The French pickling jars are beautiful when used as vases or for as a vessel to hold a collection of things. I find myself fusing these vintage oyster baskets throughout the year all over the house, they are wonderful!

I only have one vintage bottle drying rack available (see above), but I’m hoping it will go to a great home! Usually these are something that needs to rest on a countertop, but this one can be mounted to the wall. I’m using mine as an advent calendar, but after Christmas, this is something that you can use endlessly. Mount this in an entryway to hang hats, jackets, and keys on. Or use as a piece of art anywhere. This is a beautiful and unique piece!
Vintage flatware is one of life’s simple pleasures, and they are especially beautiful when set out on display for the holidays! I had trouble finding flatware that I loved, until I went to France! Sitting at a flea market outside of Bordeaux. Since then, I have swapped out all of my flatware for a collection of vintage pieces. While not all of them come from France, each piece has its own charm and character. I have five sets of five available in the shop if you are interested, see the set below!
SOME HOLIDAY FAVORITES
I always start with my vintage favorites, add some greenery, and then turn to seasonal items as the cherry on top. Take a look below at some of my favorites!
